One Change Led To 1 Million+ Views On My Personal Account

Good morning!

Today's newsletter will be slightly different.

We’ll step away from our usual programming around AI updates

And I will share a short story for folks out there who are still on the fence on whether they should start their own business or publish content online.

For the Past 2 Years, I've Been Hiding

Let me be honest with you.

For over two years, I buried everything valuable I had inside a private Facebook group.

Safe. Contained. In my comfort zone.

50,000+ members. By every measure, it was "working."

But I was playing small and I knew it.

My wife told me for years: "Post on your personal page."

And I had every excuse ready:

"I'm focused on serving my community"
"The group is where my people are"
"My followers don't want to hear about AI"
Sound familiar?

Then 20 days ago, I finally stopped making excuses and started making progress.

I wrote a post about the psychology of why entrepreneurs stay stuck.

Posted it on my personal page.

Hit publish before I could talk myself out of it.

And I've never looked back.

This small decision put me on track.

What Happened Next Blew My Mind

It helped me build the habit. I've been posting every day now.

The results?

-1,000,000+ views on my personal account
-Over 1,000 new followers I didn't pay for
-In less than two weeks

Here's the craziest part:

80% of those views came from people who DIDN'T follow me.

I was so worried about what my current followers might think that I wasn't thinking about the rest of the world waiting to hear my message.

I've had my Facebook for over 15 years. I went from 8,400 followers to close to busting 9,500 today. In just a couple weeks.

And here's the thing:

It wasn't even more work for me.

I just cross-posted the same content on my page instead of only in the group.

Same skills. Same knowledge. Same everything.

The only difference?

I stopped asking for permission to be seen.

I asked myself: What kind of example am I making for my kids by hiding myself?

The Question That Haunts Me

Where would I be if I'd done this two years ago when I started the group?

Five years ago?

Ten?

I've been teaching business owners how to scale for over 20 years now. Sure, it wasn't always AI…It was marketing, conversions, sales…but it was the same audience.

I'll never know.

And I refuse to dwell on it.

Because the only thing I control is what I do today, and tomorrow, and the day after.

So Right Now, This Monday, I Want to Encourage You

Put yourself out there.

Share what you know with the public.

You never know just how many people need your help and expertise.

Let me ask you:

What are you hiding inside a "private group" in your life?

What valuable thing are you keeping contained because you're scared of what someone might think?

What's the excuse you keep telling yourself that sounds reasonable but is really just fear wearing a suit?

Here's the truth:

The version of you that finally breaks through isn't smarter, luckier, or more talented.

They just stopped waiting for conditions to be perfect.

They stopped asking for permission.

They just posted the damn thing.

Made the call. Launched the offer. Said the words. Whatever your "thing" is.

Before they were ready.

Don't Let This Be Another Form of Hiding

Whatever you've been sitting on…post it. Ship it. Say it.

Do it.

Not Monday. Not "when things calm down." Not after one more course.

Today.

Your future self is watching.

What are you going to show them?

Talk soon,

Brian
